A pair of two Foulonia Trilobites are visible among some parts of two more Trilobites(Foulonia and one other) on the piece of ordovician rock. The rock slab has two glued cracks in the right half. The right side Feulonia has some restauration work done on the right side of the glabella. It is buildt up with material. That is clearly visible on the attached X Ray picture. Glue, acrylic and plasic don’t show on X Rays. Both specimen are about 1.75 ” or 4.5 cm from the front of the Cephalon to the end of the Pygidium extensions.
The Fezouata Formation is deposited at a time, when Africa and South America where connected. Their back then Position was under the back then Southpole. The fossils of the Fezouata Formation are usualy covered with a dust of Pyrite (leading to brown coloration) or tin minerals (leading to a red coloration). This is a similarity to the cambrian Chengjang Shale in China. Another similarity exists in the composition of taxa to the cambrian Burgess shale of Canada.
