Solnhofen Fish Tharsis dubius

Description

A Solnhofen Fish Tharsis dubius in very good condition for sale. It is the second most found Fish fossil in the area around Solnhofen. Tharsis is a predatory Fish. It is known from the Eichstaedt Formation, Malm zeta 2 and the Moernsheim formation, Malm zeta 3.

Fins and bones are showing nicely. Very good preparation. The vertebrae and some headbones are cristalised. it is qite common among fish of the species Tarsis dubius.

The fossil is head to tail 18.5 cm or 7.25 inches long.
