Nice preserved Colpocoryphe rouaulti Trilobite from France for sale.

The Trilobite species has been found in France and Spain.

The fossil is from the  Darrivillien stage of the Middle Ordovician age. Darrivillian is the french term for Llandeilo or Dobrotivian.

France yields plenty of fossils among them plenty of Trilobite species. The fossil friendly policy of the French Government Makes it a fossil hunters paradise. Already known for the various sites with Jurassic Ammonites all over the country. Now new Opportunities and new Discoveries in the Ordovician Period, like St Aubin Des Chateaux near Nantes and in Montagne Noir in the south will bring more attantion to the Trilobites and other fossils of France.

The specimen here is 3 cm or 1.2 inches long. There are no alternations on the fossil. Comes accompanied with a little Brachiopod.
