Description
Large Trilobite Elrathia kingii fossil for sale. Very nice preserved Elrathia kingii Trilobite fossil on Calcite nodule from the Middle Cambrian Wheeler Shale. The fossil is 1.8 inch or 4.6 cm long. The Trilobite shows a lot of detail. The Age of the Wheeler Shale and the fossils found within is dated to about 507 million years ago. The fossil comes from the House Range of Antelope Springs, Millard County in Utah. The fossil is cleaned by sandblasting. The fossils of the Wheeler Shale are commercially quarried for the fossil and jewellery trade.
The Elrathia kingii here is 1.8 inches or 4.6 cm long.
