Description
Tharsis dubius from the Solnhofen Limestones in very good condition for sale. It is the second most found Fish fossil in the area around Solnhofen and Eichstaedt. Tharsis is a predatory Fish. It is known from the Eichstaedt Formation, Malm zeta 2 and the Moernsheim formation, Malm zeta 3.
Scales and bones are showing nicely. Very good preparation.
The slab is repaired and glued.
The fossil is head to tail 18.5 cm or 7.25 inches long.
