Description
Large Reineckeia Ammonite from France for sale. The fossil is 12.5 cm or 5 inches in diameter. A repaired crack. The fossil is a surface found and the back side is weathered. Still it is a very representative specimen of the species Reineckeia anceps with all structures intact. Reineckia is a genus of Ammonites with strong ribs, which carry knots. They appear in The Middle Calovian of Europe, Northafrica. Pamir, Mexico and Southamerica. Reineckia anceps comes from Europe.
