Nobiliasaphus nobilis Trilobite from France

Description

Large nice preserved quality Nobiliasaphus nobilis Trilobite from France for sale. the fossil is from the  Darrivillien stage of the Middle Ordovician age. Darrivillian is the french term for Llandeilo or Dobrotivian.

The Trilobite species is found in France and Spain.

The specimen here is 5.5 cm or 2.2 inches long. There are no alternations on the fossil. In parts of the left side of the Trilobite it is weatherd with a granular surface. The granular surface structures occur on many of these rocks as a form of weathering. They can be seen also around the Brachiopod in front of the Trilobite.

France yields plenty of fossils among them plenty of Trilobite species. The fossil friendly policy of the French Government Makes it a fossil hunters paradise.
